Good Neighbor Certification by SAVRM

Homeowners and Property Manager members of SAVRM are eligible to become Good Neighbor Certified annually as a benefit of membership. By committing to observe the Good Neighbor Guidelines presented by Summit County and local towns and maintaining good standing with SAVRM by paying membership dues on time each year, our members will be eligible to receive the Good Neighbor Certified badge for posting on their marketing materials. 

Being a Certified Good Neighbor is something we take very seriously in Summit County as it shows our commitment as the vacation rental industry to preserving a positive and balanced partnership with our locals and our community.

Property Managers

Get Good Neighbor Certified as a property manager and ALL of your managed units will automatically qualify as Good Neighbor Certified properties! Property managers receive this special badge for inclusion on your website, listings, and other marketing materials. 

Homeowners

You can get Good Neighbor Certified, too! Just follow the same steps outlined here and we’ll get you that badge of honor to place on your home’s listings. Homeowners receive this special badge to signify your ongoing commitment to being a great neighbor.

Do I have to pay for the certification?

No! Your annual membership automatically includes the Good Neighbor Certification, if you would like to participate. It is completely optional but a wonderful perk of membership as a part of SAVRM.

How to Get Good Neighbor Certified

Maintain active SAVRM membership
Maintain active short-term rental license for your property by paying annual licensing fees and updating any required paperwork
Commit to meeting all Good Neighbor Guidelines as outlined on this page
Train appropriate staff members on Good Neighbor Guidelines
Promote the Good Neighbor Guidelines with homeowners & visiting guests
Proudly display your SAVRM Good Neighbor Certified badge
